WeekSlim Privacy Policy
The App is developed and provided by TAN SHI CHUANG YI LIMITED (探蒔創藝有限公司, Taiwan Business ID 95461523; “we”, “us”). This policy explains how the App handles your data.
1. Summary
- The App does not require an account, and we do not provide cloud sync.
- Your logs are stored only on your own device.
- Only when you choose to use an AI analysis feature is the meal text or photo you select sent to a third-party AI provider for processing.
- The App has no ads, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
2. Data stored on your device
What you enter in the App — such as weight, height, meals, water, exercise, sleep, mood, how you feel, period logs and, if you turn on the GLP-1 injection log mode, injection dates, sites and scheduled days — is stored only locally on your device. Our servers do not receive and cannot access these logs.
The App does not use advertising tracking and does not collect usage analytics.
Depending on your settings, your device’s operating system may include App data in device backups (for example iCloud or Google backup). Such backups are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies and do not pass through us.
3. Export and import
You can export your logs as a JSON file and decide where to save or share it, and you can import logs from a JSON file. Exported files stay under your control; we do not receive them.
4. Reminders
Reminders (such as logging reminders or scheduled-day reminders) are local notifications scheduled on your device. They do not go through our servers, and you can turn them off at any time in the App or in system settings.
5. AI analysis features (WeekSlim Plus)
When you choose to use the AI nutrition assistant (text analysis or photo analysis), the meal text you enter or the meal photo you select is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing, to produce calorie and nutrition estimates that are returned to your device.
- Only the text or photo you choose to analyse is sent; your other logs are not.
- We do not store this text or these photos on our servers.
- The third-party AI provider processes this content under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Please avoid including faces, names or other identifying information in meal photos or text.
6. Camera and photo access
The App asks for camera or photo-library access only when you use photo analysis or pick a photo, and uses it only for the photo you choose. You can revoke access at any time in system settings.
7. Subscriptions and payment
WeekSlim Plus subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment details are processed by Apple or Google under their policies; we never receive your card or payment details, only the information needed to verify your subscription status.
8. Retention and deletion
Because your logs are stored only on your device, you can delete them in the App or delete all local data by uninstalling the App. We cannot recover deleted data for you, so consider exporting a backup first.
9. Children’s privacy
The App is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Your rights
Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Since our servers do not keep your logs, most data can be managed directly in the App. Contact us with any questions.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features or laws change. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and we will notify you in the App of any material changes.
